MUSCAT: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority on Saturday managed to rescue two children who reportedly went missing in the valley of Qafafa in Wilayat Ibra.
However, CDAA said the third child who was also missing in the valley has been found dead. “CDAA responded to a report about the drowning incident of three children in the valley of Qafafa in Ibra. They were rescued by citizens and two of them are in good health. Our team quickly transferred the third child to hospital but he has died,” CDAA said.
“The authority calls on parents to monitor children and not allow them to swim in the streams of valleys and water bodies in order to preserve their safety,” CDAA added.
