MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases on Thursday.
Of the 308 prisoners who were issued Royal pardon, 119 convicts were foreign nationals.
His Majesty’s Royal pardon coincides with the Blessed Eid Al Adha and in consideration of families of the prisoners.
