MUSCAT : Volkswagen Oman, represented by Premium Motors supported the Padel League organised by Tekkers Sports Centre, Oman’s first private indoor sports facility set up in March 2022. The centre hosts two custom-made padel courts apart from futsal, basketball, volleyball, and tennis facilities.

As part of three-and-half-weeklong official automotive sponsor partnership, popular Volkswagen models Golf GTI and Golf R were kept on display at the venue.

Over 56 teams participated in the league, indicating that padel is a fast-growing sport in Oman and is ranked globally as a very popular spectator sport too. Organising Oman’s first indoor padel league aims to increase public awareness about the sport and help its growth in the country.
