MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology(MTCIT) has withdrawn the accreditation status of web and cloud hosting service company ‘Cloud Acropolis’.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry said the services ‘Cloud Acropolis’ is providing to government institutions has become invalid.
“The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology notes that it has withdrawn the accreditation of “Cloud Acropolis” to provide cloud services and hosting, and thus the accreditation certificate issued to Cloud Acropolis by the Ministry to provide this service to government institutions becomes invalid,” the Ministry added.
