MUSCAT: The Seismological Center at Sultan Qaboos University indicated that a 6.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Arabian Gulf on Saturday morning.
The center said that the earthquake occurred at 1:32 am local time. “The depth of the earthquake is 10 km, and its location is 111 km from Khasab,” the statement said.
