MUSCAT: The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, on Friday morning, held a meeting which was headed by His Excellency Eng. Omar bin Hamdan Al-Ismaili – CEO of the Authority.
The meeting was held to follow up on the repair works conducted because of the malfunction which occurred to the fibre optic cable on Thursday, June 30. This had affected communication services in the Musandam Governorate.
His Excellency has stressed the necessity of accelerating the reform process. The authority would also continue coordinating with the concerned companies to provide possible alternatives until the repair work is complete and services are restored.
