MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police on Monday arrested 10 expatriates for allegedly kidnapping another expat to extort money.
In a statement issued, ROP said the incident happened in Musandam Governorate. The suspects were arrested in coordination with Interpol.
“An expat from an Asian country was kidnapped by 10 people of the same nationality and restricted his freedom due to financial claims. Legal procedures are being completed against them,” ROP said.
