MUSCAT: A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman on Saturday evening offered support and direct supervision for a rescue operation.
The helicopter monitored the implementation of the rescue operation at sea rescuing a crew of 12 people of Indian nationality on a cargo boat.
The boat sank three kilometres away, nautical miles east of Ras Hasik Niyabat in Dhofar Governorate. The rescue operation was deemed successful.
