MUSCAT: Several parts of the Sultanate will witness temperatures nearing 50 degree Celsius, especially in the desert areas on Saturday, Oman Meteorology said.
Oman Met revealed the temperatures recorded in some of the areas in the Sultanate on Friday.
Fahud – 49 degree Celsius
Qarn Al Alam — 48.8 degree Celsius
Al Mudhaibi — 48.3 degree Celsius
A Zamim – 48.1 degree Celsius
Ibri – 48 degree Celsius
Al Qabil – 48 degree Celsius
Bahla – 48 degree Celsius
Al Sunaina – 47.7 degree Celsius
Nizwa – 47.6 degree Celsius
