MUSCAT: Sohar Municipality will rehabilitate several service roads in the Falaj Al Qabail area in Wilayat of Sohar at a cost of over OMR 3 million.
The project includes the rehabilitation of two sites, the first with a length of 3 kilometers and a width of 9 meters, while the second site includes about 1.7 kilometers and a width of 9 meters.
Sohar Municipality will work with a company to execute the project and to approve the final designs. The implementation of the project will start during the last quarter of this year.

The project also includes the rehabilitation of many service roads adjacent to the main street, Mashael Al-Nour Street, from the western and eastern sides in the Falaj Al-Qabil area. The implementation of these roads will serve the smooth movement of vehicles, raise traffic safety and reduce the current congestion in the area due to the increase in commercial and industrial activities.
