MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a cable of condolences and sympathies to the flood victims.
His Majesty the Sultan also expressed his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, the families of the victims and the friendly Brazilian people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Authorities in northeastern Brazil’s Pernambuco state have said that the death toll from floods could exceed over 100 after authorities confirmed 91 deaths with many more people missing.
