MUSCAT: Oman’s national youth team secured a sport in Group G after the draw at the qualifiers for the AFC U20 Asian Cup in Kuala Lumpur.
Along with Oman, Thailand, the Philippines and Afghanistan have also been placed in Group G.
Oman’s national youth team will host Group G competitions at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher from September 10 to 18.

The group leader qualifies directly to the 2023 Asian Nations finals in Uzbekistan, along with the five best teams securing second place from all ten groups.
