MUSCAT: The Public Services Regulatory Authority in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos University organised a forum on the future of green hydrogen in the Arab region.
The seminar named ‘Green Hydrogen Horizons Forum’ also dealt with efforts to develop the scope of this alternative, which reduces emissions for the good of the planet, in Oman.
Dr. Mansour bin Taleb al-Hani, head of the Public Services Regulatory Authority, explained that green hydrogen is a promising and vital source of energy and contributes to diversifying its sources and sustainability and increasing the volume of investment, especially in the electricity sector, in addition to its role in mitigating the effects of global warming.
