MUSCAT: Fire crews from the Department of Civil Defense and Ambulance in South Al Sharqiyah dealt with a fire which burnt down palm trees and agricultural waste in Jalan Bani Bu Ali.
The firefighters were able to manage and control the fire, without causing any injuries.
The authority has called on farmers to safely dispose agricultural waste and avoid accumulating them as it can be hazardous.
