MUSCAT: The clubs participating in the AFC Cup 2022 – Group A matches have arrived in Oman.
The AFC Cup 2022 Group A matches will be held in Muscat, Oman, where three-time winners Kuwait SC will battle Lebanon’s Al Ansar as well as Al Seeb Club from Oman and Jableh of Syria.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) had confirmed the centralised venues for the AFC Cup 2022 Group Stage is scheduled to be played in the West and South Zones from May 18 to 24, and in the ASEAN, Central and East Zones from June 24 to 30.

The organising committee has announced that required facilities have been provided for the fans of the Sultanate and the fans of the Arab communities to attend and follow the matches from the stands and via electronic platforms.
On Tuesday, May 16, the technical meeting of the Asian qualifiers will be held, which will be followed by the press conference for the coaches of Al-Seeb Club and Jableh Club at the Hormuz Hotel, the residence of the AFC delegation.
The Syrian Jableh Club was the first to arrive in the Sultanate of Oman on Friday evening. The Kuwait SC arrived on Sunday evening and also had its first training session immediately upon arrival. Lebanon’s Al Ansar delegation arrived at Muscat International Airport on evening Sunday.
