MUSCAT: The State Council will be holding its fifth regular session for the third annual session of the seventh period on Tuesday, May 10.
The session will be headed by His Excellency Sheikh Abdul-Malik bin Abdullah Al-Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, and in the presence of honourable members and His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Council, in the meeting room of the Council building in Al-Bustan.
During the session, the council will discuss the draft law amending some provisions of the Law of the Book of Justice issued by Royal Decree No. (40/2003) referred by the Council of Ministers, and the report of the Legal Committee on it.

The council will also discuss the proposals submitted by the Economic Committee regarding its desire to study the efficiency of spending in the Sultanate of Oman and The Future of Water in the Sultanate of Oman.
The session’s agenda also includes reviewing a number of reports submitted by the honoured members of the Council, in addition to reviewing the report of the General Secretariat on the Council’s activities for the period between the previous session and this session.
