MUSCAT : The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has announced that the e-registration of citizens and residents for Haj 1443 AH will open today (Monday) till 14 May 2022. Registration can be made through the electronic system (www.hajj.om).
The ministry added that the registration can be through the ID number or ID card or mobile number.
As for the conditions and controls for Haj registration through the electronic system, the ministry added that the applicant must be at least 18 years old and under 65 years old.

The ministry pointed out that the applicant must meet the conditions and controls of the target group for Haj, and who has completed taking the doses of approved vaccines for coronavirus (Covid-19), with a certificate endorsed by the health authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, and submitting a negative PCR result taken within (72) hours prior to travel time to Saudi Arabia.
The quota of the Sultanate of Oman in 2022 is 6,338 pilgrims, reducing the number by 45 percent due to the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic.
