MUSCAT: Oman has been ranked 22nd in the world with the cheapest fuel prices costing $0.621 per gallon, the Global Petroleum Price website said in a report.
In March 2022, the Sultanate was ranked 19th globally. In the latest data, Venezuela ranked first in the world with the cheapest petrol prices costing $0.11 per gallon, while Libya, Iran, and Syria and Algeria and Kuwait are among the first ten countries with the most affordable petrol prices.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong, Netherlands and Norway are among the first three countries with the most expensive gas prices. The index also indicated that the average price of fuel globally amounted to $1.33 US per gallon, up from $1.29 dollars per gallon during the month of March.
