MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education, represented by Oman’s National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, will hold a national symposium entitled ‘Culture is the Engine of the Violet Economy’ on May 10 and 11.
This symposium will be held in partnership with UNESCO and the Islamic World Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO).
The symposium will include several workshops to discuss how to benefit from the violet economy to boost the national economy.

Violet economy is a proposed economic model that strives to remove entrance barriers so that people can have equal access to opportunities and thereby bridge the gender gap in the labour market.
