MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued two Royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal Decree No. (21/2022) on the ratification of an agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on mutual waiver of visas for holders of diplomatic, special, service and official passports, signed in Dhaka on 24 March 2022.
Article (1) ratifies the aforesaid agreement as per the version attached to this decree.

Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.
Royal Decree No. (22/2022) endorsing the Sultanate of Oman’s joining the Amendment to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material.
Article (1) endorses the Sultanate of Oman’s joining the Amendment to the Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material as per the version attached to this decree.
Article (2) says that the competent departments shall deposit the endorsement document as per the aforesaid Convention’s provisions.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its data of issue.
