MUSCAT: The Oman Meteorology, on Sunday, April 24, has indicated that scattered thunderstorms can be expected accompanied with active downward winds and hail on parts of the Al Hajar Mountains in the afternoon. It is also expected that convective clouds will continue to form.
The weather will be generally clear in most governorates with the flow of high clouds and isolated rain. There are chances of clouds forming on the coastal parts of Dhofar Governorate, and the possibility of rain showers on Jebel Samhan and the coastal areas of the governorate.
The meteorology department has indicated that there is a possibility of low clouds or fog forming at the end of the night and early morning over parts of the governorates of South Al Sharqiah, Al Wusta, Dhofar and the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman.
