MUSCAT: Three people belonging to Asian nationality have been arrested on the charges of smuggling narcotics through sea.
The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the Police of South Al Batinah Governorate, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, have managed to make the arrest.
The ROP has stated that the accused was found in possession of five packages containing 13 kilograms of crystal drug. The intention of the smugglers was trafficking these drugs in partnership with an international gang.
