MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in cooperation with the government and private sectors, will launch 18 investment opportunities in the tourism and waste management sectors.
The event will be held under the patronage of His Excellency Salem bin Muhammad Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday.
The launch of these investment opportunities will be held in partnership with the Muscat National Development and Investment Company (ASAS), the Omani Tourism Development Company (Omran), Omani Environmental Services Holding Company (Be’ah) and the Jabal Busher Heights Real Estate Development Company.

“Through these initiatives and plans, the ministry aims to attract qualitative investments in the sectors of economic diversification, empower the private sector and motivate it to invest, in addition to contributing to increasing the proportion of foreign direct investment in the gross domestic product and promoting the country as a promising investment destination.,” the Ministry said in a statement.
