MUSCAT : An agreement on the employment of official employees’ spouses was signed at the Foreign Ministry here today between the governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America (USA).
The agreement was signed by Mohammed Nasser Al Wahaibi, Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Leslie M. Tsou, Ambassador of the USA to Oman.
As per the agreement, spouses of officials at diplomatic missions are eligible to work in non-governmental establishments in the host country.

The agreement comes within the framework of the advanced relations between Oman and the USA and in affirmation of the two countries’ keenness to boost cooperation.
