MUSCAT: Salalah Airport achieved a growth in the number of arriving passengers in the first quarter of this year by 89 percent and departing passengers by 72 percent compared to the same period last year.
Salim bin Awad Al Yafei, Executive Vice President of Salalah Airport, said in an interview with the Oman News Agency that Oman airports have provided and implemented all precautionary measures issued by the concerned authorities, which allowed the gradual return of movement.
On April 29, Abu Dhabi’s budget airline Wizz Air will operate daily flight. From June 28 to September 29, Gulf Air will operate two flights from Bahrain to Salalah, while five flights will be operates from Kuwait including three from Al Jazeera Airways.
