MUSCAT: Oman is all geared up to celebrate the mid-Ramadan month of Qaranqasho, a social tradition largely followed in the region. The auspicious day is celebrated during the mid-Ramadan month by most of the Sultanate’s governorates.
In most of the Sultanate’s governorates, Qaranqasho is the most common name for the event while others call it Garge’an, a term used by some other GCC countries which follow this particular Ramadan tradition.
