MUSCAT: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s branch in Al Dhahirah Governorate had organised an introductory seminar on taxes in the Sultanate of Oman.
The seminar aimed at clarifying the details of the registration mechanism in the tax system and the collection mechanism, including queries such as who are the merchants, who are subject to income tax, etc.
Additionally, the session also touched upon the importance of tax returns, which would facilitate the tax collection process between project owners and the Tax Authority and also to avoid paying financial fines.
