MUSCAT : The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Sohar Aluminium company signed here today a cooperation programme to develop various vocational colleges and the Vocational College for Marine Sciences in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah.
The programme was signed by Dr. Muna Salim Al Jardani, Undersecretary for Vocational Training and Eng. Said Mohammed Al Masoudi, CEO of Sohar Aluminium company.
This cooperation comes within the framework of expanding strategic partnership with the private sector. It is also part of Sohar Aluminium’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects.

A comprehensive plan was outlined to develop the vocational colleges in specific initiatives which are set up within a timeframe that allows for the accommodation of more students. The programmes offered by those colleges will also be enhanced to keep pace with the rapid developments taking place in the field of vocational training.
