MUSCAT: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) recorded 616 violations in North Al Batinah Governorate in the first three months of this year.
In a statement issued, CPA said it dealt with 214 reports and also managed to seize 6,202 prohibited goods as part of its intensive monitoring efforts across the markets.
“The Department of Consumer Protection in the Governorate of North Al Batinah managed to seize 6,202 prohibited goods, recorded 616 violations, and dealt with 214 reports during the first quarter of this year,” CPA said in the statement.
