MUSCAT: The United Nations has described the efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman in the truce declared in Yemen as tangible and appreciated.
His Excellency David Gressly, the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, the Sultanate of Oman’s permanent representative to the United Nations met to discuss the Yemen truce at the Sultanate’s delegation headquarters in New York.
The UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen said that the truce renewed hopes for the possibility of finding a peaceful solution to the Yemeni crisis in a way that restores security and stability.

It was also stressed during the meeting that the United Nations will not give up providing support and assistance to the Yemeni people.
