MUSCAT: Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi headed the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the 151st session of the Ministerial Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The session was held on Thursday night, April 7 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The minister tweeted, “A consultative meeting between the ministers was held to discuss the developments, review the developments of joint Gulf action and the course of trade negotiations with countries and regional groupings. We also heard a briefing from Hans Grundberg, the UN envoy to Yemen, and their efforts to achieve peace and support the humanitarian and economic aspects.”
The meeting followed the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council issued by the 42nd summit in Riyadh.

The memoranda and reports were submitted by the ministerial, technical committees and the General Secretariat of the Council.
The topics related to dialogues, strategic relations between the GCC countries and global blocs were discussed. Additionally, the latest regional and international developments in the region were also discussed at the meeting.
