MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology will be conducting its periodic maintenance work on the Empty Quarter Road from the Ta’am roundabout in the Wilayat of Ibri to the Empty Quarter crossing.
The maintenance work on the 148 km-long stretch includes repainting the road markings, replacing signages which offer guidance to commuters as well as the light reflectors marked along the side of the roads.
The ministry aims to provide safer roads for commuters by upholding its quality and durability through its periodic maintenance works in various governorates of the Sultanate.
