IBRI: The work on the Bilad Al-Shahoum Al-Hajar Road Project in Ibri has been completed by 92 percent.
Engineer Saeed bin Ali Al Yahyai, Director of the Roads Department in Al Dhahirah Governorate, said, “Work is underway to complete the rest of the project. The length of the road is estimated to be 23 km, of which the 20 km-length has been completed.
The project is one of the important ones in the governorate which will shorten the distance between a number of villages, towns and populated centres. The cross-section of the road for each lane is 3.5 metres for each lane with outer shoulders 1.5 metres wide.

He stated that the project work was ongoing, all traffic safety requirements such as concrete, iron barriers, warning regulations and others were provided.
