MUSCAT: The Ministry of Labour has decided to implement a flexible working system in public sector so that the employee is allowed to work in a two-shift system during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said the double-shift system is equivalent to five working hours per day “provided that attendance in the first period is from 8 am to 1 pm and the second shift is from 9 am to 2 pm.
