DUBAI: India has scrapped the mandatory PCR test for fully vaccinated passengers from UAE.
In a letter issued to travel agents, Air India Express said passengers who have completed the full vaccination are exempted from PCT testing prior to their departure for travel to India from UAE. However, “the passengers should upload their vaccination certificate on the Air Suvidha portal,” the letter said.
Children under the age of 5 are exempted from pre and post-arrival testing, it added.
