MUSCAT: The winners of the first five places in the Golden Talent competition were announced on Tuesday evening, March 29.
The competition was launched by Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi in a special ceremony held at the German University.
Wassan Al-Habsieh won the first place, Rahma Al-Hajaria came second, Dhanina Al-Hamdaniya landed the third place, Hurriya Al-Harsiya bagged the fourth place, and Muhammad Al-Ajmi scored the fifth place.

The prize for first place is OMR 5,000, OMR 3,000 for the second place is 3,000 and OMR 2,000 for the third place winner. The winners would be donating 10% of their cash prizes to a local charitable organisation chosen by them.
Out of 88 talented people, 20 were shortlisted by voting through text message. These contestants displayed their talents through a series of episodes on Sayyid Khalid bin Hamad Al Busaidi’s Instagram page. On Tuesday, the shortlisted candidates presented their innovative talents in various art magazines to compete for the top five places.
Approximately 9,235 votes were received, and the proceeds of which will be donated to UNICEF in the Sultanate of Oman to fund youth training programs in the country.
