MUSCAT: Over 12,000 births were registered in Oman in two months, according to a statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
In January 2022, a total of 6,449 births were recorded, while in February 5,626 births were registered in the country.
“A total of 12,125 births were registered including 11,254 Omanis and 871 residents. There were nine births every hour during this period,” NCSI said.
