DUBAI: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, participated in the first edition of the Investopia Investment Summit at Expo 2020 Dubai.
The summit aims to launch 100 innovative ideas and new business opportunities in the world and the region.

The summit included a number of programs and discussion sessions namely From the Present to the Future: Global Investment Prospects to 2025, Metaverse: New Opportunities for Investors, The Future of 3.5 Billion People in Emerging Markets: The Kazakhstan Model and Investment Prospects; The UAE in the Next Fifty and A Long-Term Vision: Lessons from Investment Leaders.
During the summit, work was done to build qualitative investment partnerships, enhance investment cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and other countries, and benefit from global experiences and visions in economic growth, innovation and the technological revolution.
The axes of the summit focused on specialised investment topics such as responsible and sustainable investment, investment in digital transformation and the technological revolution, especially in digital commerce, services and digital supply chains. It also focused on studying the transformation of business models, shopping and distance learning.
This will open a broader space for artificial intelligence, robotics, blockchain and services for the fifth generation of communications services that will be It is a priority to ensure the stability of the lives of individuals, companies and governments in the future.
The summit contributes to providing a large database of investment opportunities, incentives and facilities in various countries of the world and allowing governments from different countries to present their development projects, investment opportunities, incentives and facilities for investors, and the legislative and legal environment regulating investment in those markets.
