MUSCAT: The Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, on Tuesday, opened the outlets for the sale of Omani dates at the Muscat Mall Center in Al Maabilah South in the Wilayat of Seeb.
The opening was sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Bakri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources for Agriculture, who listened to an explanation of the types of dates offered by farmers, producers and owners of pioneering projects in the sale of dates.
Engineer Hadia Bint Juma Al Balushi, Director of the Marketing and Agricultural Industries Department at the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources, said that these marketing outlets are attended by Omani date producers, such as farmers, owners of date processing units and women entrepreneurs who have home projects from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

Al Balushi pointed out the participation of the Oman Palm Development Company in displaying the finest types of dates and their derivatives and manufacturing industries such as juices, molasses, sweets with dates, and cosmetics made from date derivatives.
