MUSCAT: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) is continuing to inspect various commercial markets in the country to ensure the stability of prices and availability of goods ahead of Ramadan.
His Excellency Salim Al Hakmani, Chairman of CPA also made inspection tour of a commercial centre in Muscat. “CPA chairman also followed up on the proper implementation of tax-exempt goods before the beginning of the month of Ramadan,” CPA said in the statement.
Meanwhile, CPA also inspected several commercial centres in North Al Batinah. “Consumer Protection in North Al Batinah Governorate, continues its continuous efforts in monitoring and inspection in the governorate’s wilayats to ensure the availability of commodities and the stability of commodity prices and to ensure the proper application of taxes before the holy month of Ramadan,” CPA added.
