MUSCAT: The much-awaited FIDE-rated International Chess tournament will be held from Wednesday, March 23 and the finals will be played on Saturday, March 26.
The tournament is sponsored by Design Group Engineering Consultants and will be held under the auspices of the Oman Chess Committee led by Ahmed Darwish Al Bulushi, the Chairman.
Musallam Salim Al Wadhahi will be the Chief Arbiter and passionate chess lover and trainer from India, V U Divakar will be the Tournament Director. The Director of Khimji Ramdas Group, Pankaj Khimji will be the chief guest for this inaugural international tournament.
