MUSCAT: More than 155,000 automatic licences were issued through the “Invest Easy” electronic portal and through the service provider offices SANAD.
The service was launched on April 4, 2021 and until the end of February of this year reached 159,529 automatic licenses, according to statistics issued by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion.
The ministry indicated that the top 10 nationalities registered for the automatic licensing service were from Oman, India, Yemen, Pakistan, Iran, UAE, Syria, Egypt, Bangladesh and Iraq.
