MUSCAT: Total balance of credit granted to banks recorded an increase of 2.7% in the last 12 months.
In a statement issued, Oman News Agency said credit granted to private sector banks increased by 1.1% to reach OMR 19.2 billion by end of January 2022.
“The total investments of conventional commercial banks in securities amounted to about OMR 1.5 billion, an increase of 19.4 percent by the end of January 2022.
