MUSCAT: Oman will host training camps for some of the qualified teams for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, a top official informed.
His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth said coordination is in place to host group of qualified teams before the start of the tournament. “There is coordination with the Omani Football Association to attract a group of qualified teams to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to set up camps for them before the start of the tournament, and the sports facilities for these teams have been prepared according to international standards,” he added.
Qatar will host the showpiece tournament from November 21 to December 18,2022.
