MUSCAT: The National Competitiveness Committee held its first periodic meeting of 2022 on Monday morning, March 14.
The meeting was headed by His Excellency Dr. Said Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, and in the presence of their Excellencies, representatives of the private sector and members of the Committee in the Development Hall at the Ministry of Economy building.
The committee discussed a number of topics, including those approved at the last meeting of the committee, and the media plan of the National Competitiveness Office, through which the office seeks to reach the targeted segments of surveys issued by international organisations, as well as educating society in general with all its segments.

The meeting also reviewed the executive position on the international indicators that the National Competitiveness Office monitors mainly and within the objectives of the Oman Vision 2040, and ways to enhance the Sultanate of Oman’s position in it.
The National Competitiveness Office is working in coordination with all concerned parties internally and externally to raise the rating of the Sultanate of Oman and achieve advanced ranks in international reports and indicators.
