MUSCAT: Private universities in Oman do not make profit in spite of the great efforts they are making in giving quality education.
Speaking in an interview, Dr. Bakhit bin Ahmed Al Mahri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation praised the educational institutions for their quality. “In spite of making great efforts, private universities are not making profits,” Al Mahri said.
Dr. Al Mahri also informed that the Sultanate at the international level in global innovation indicators, ranked 13th globally in spending on education and first in the level of engineering and science outputs globally.
