The ministry valued the Royal directives issued by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to disburse an additional pay for Social Security Scheme beneficiaries upon the advent of Ramadan and to alleviate the impact, on this segment, of high prices of commodities and services.
The ministry also expressed gratitude for Royal directives to revise social assistance programmes and principles of calculation of Social Security allocations.
The ministry explained that the Social Security Sector covers the segments of orphans, widows, the elderly, the deserted, the divorced, unmarried girls, the decrepit, families of the imprisoned and other special segments.
