MUSCAT: The Royal Opera House Muscat (ROHM) has announced the upcoming concert to be performed this Thursday at the Opera House, Donizetti Masterpieces.
The concert, held in celebration of the most popular and wonderful arias, duets and overtures by Gaetano Donizetti (1797 – 1848) and will be performed by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan, with a host of solo artists. The programme explores Donizetti’s opera canon, delving into the emotional depth of his more serious work and celebrating the wit and fun of his comic operas.
The acclaimed conductor, Sergey Smbatyan, is the Founding Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and has presented the orchestra throughout Europe, Russia and the United States. This concert is a sophisticated gala for opera fans and new audiences. The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will take you on a journey through the best of Donizetti.

All visits to the opera house are conducted under the guidelines of the Covid-19 Supreme Committee. Social distancing is maintained throughout the building and the wearing of facemasks is mandatory.
