MUSCAT: Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, on Tuesday, held a session of consultations with Liberta Mulamula, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, during his visit to Zanzibar.
During the meeting, they reviewed the historical relations linking the two friendly countries and ways of developing bilateral cooperation, economic and investment partnership, and enhancing cultural and scientific exchange for broader and more comprehensive horizons.
On the political level, the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and affirmed their support for dialogue and peaceful means in resolving issues and conflicts in order to stabilise and sustain international peace and security.

The discussions were attended by the delegation accompanying the Minister of Foreign Affairs and a number of officials from the Tanzanian side.
