MUSCAT: The Department of Frankincense Land Sites in the General Directorate of Heritage and Tourism in the Governorate of Dhofar released statistics revealing the number of visitors at the popular locations in the governorate.
As per the statistics released, the number of visitors that the Land of Frankincense sites in the Governorate of Dhofar saw touched 10,295 in the months of January and February of 2022.
The statistics also revealed that the Al Baleed Archaeological Park and the Museum of Frankincense Land has 4790 visitors since the beginning 2022, while the Samharam Archaeological Park has 2366 visitors. The number of visitors who paid a visit to the archaeological site of Wabar (Shasr) reached 3139 visitors.
